Program Overview

The TIGER program is an 10-week hybrid training offered at no cost to 32 participants annually. It includes self-guided online modules with asynchronous content, weekly office hours, and a mandatory 2-day in-person workshop.

 

*Participants will receive a stipend to cover travel for the in-person training.

Application

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, applicant must be:

  1. A post-doctoral scholar or research mentor member at a United States Academic Institution

  2. Actively engaged in genomics research

  3. Available to participate in the entirety of the TIGER curriculum (10 weeks online, 2 days in-person)

Participants gain a foundation in dissemination and implementation (D&I) science research as applied to genomics, genomic medicine, and precision public health, through interactive modules, assigned readings, and weekly office hours.

Access Modules

To accompany the facilitated self-guided training and solidify concepts for trainees to move to the next steps in their D&I research in genomics and precision public health.

Participants focus on practical application of D&I methods, collaboration with peers and mentors, and deepening understanding of intervention fidelity, adaptation, and outcome measurement.
